Today, creative minds and visionaries from across Europe are once again being drawn here. People who believe in the “Monte Carlo of the Alps” and who are helping to shape its future with fresh ideas and a deep respect for its remarkable history.
That is true for us as well: Roland Schlager and Vanessa Golle from Salzburg. Our paths have taken us through many different places and experiences. Originally from Munich, with Roland being a native of Salzburg, we have lived and worked in various parts of the world. For many years, Vanessa organised international events for leading fashion, luxury and lifestyle brands. Roland founded a consulting company that advises and supports renowned businesses in their development and growth.
After years of intense professional activity – perhaps also inspired by our children and a growing desire for more tranquillity, nature and authenticity – a shared passion evolved into something new: a small store that truly reflects who we are.
Vanessa’s passion lies in table settings, handbags, beautiful details and objects with character. Products that are not found on every street corner. Pieces that tell a story and create a special atmosphere. Our philosophy is simple: quality over quantity, timeless classics over short-lived trends. We believe in products that stand the test of time – because they are well made, proven in everyday life and never go out of style.
We consciously chose not to follow the established destinations such as Kitzbühel, Saalbach, Ischgl or Obertauern – let alone Switzerland. Bad Gastein is different. It is a place of magnificent imperial-era architecture, shaped by its dramatic waterfall, renowned for its healing thermal springs and surrounded by an exceptional ski and hiking region. Where else can you still enjoy skiing until the end of April?
For us, Bad Gastein is no coincidence. It is a deliberate choice – a choice for individuality, character and a life lived with purpose.
