Bad Gastein is located at 1000 m above sea level in the heart of Europe in the Salzburger Land of Austria. Easily and conveniently accessible via the motorway and well-developed federal highways. The Tauernschleuse represents another connection towards Carinthia and Italy. Venice can be reached in about 3 hours. The airports of Salzburg and Klagenfurt, which are also served by many low-cost airlines, are about 1 to 1.5 hours away by train or car. The Munich airport is about 2.5 hours away.
