Our story

During the renovation of the KWP Chalet and our own holiday home in 2011-2013, we spent a lot of time in Bad Gastein. Between battling construction dust and choosing curtain fabrics, we craved a relaxing place to enjoy a good cup of coffee or a (well-deserved) glass of wine. The bar at Haus Hirt became our second home because not much else could be found back then in Bad Gastein. At some point, we also realized we were lacking in beautiful things to see, and maybe even buy. No such business existed at the time. And so out of our own longing, the KWP Café & Concept Store was born: A cozy place to enjoy a good drink and browse beautiful things.
